Look. They All Saw the Same Thing.

Look.

There’s an act you’ve been taught to file under dirty. Under appetite. Under nothing.

Four different traditions, on four different continents, filed it under holy.

The Sambia thought it was how a boy became a man, vitality passed body to body, the way you’d pass a fire. The tantric lineages made it the sacrament. The actual sacred offering. The Gnostics got burned for it. Crowley built a secret rite on it.

None of them were thinking about getting off. Every one of them was thinking the same thought: that what comes out of the body carries something that isn’t the body. Spirit riding in substance. The material thing as a vessel for the immaterial one.

That’s the whole secret, and it’s not even a sex secret. It’s older than that. It’s the oldest refusal there is. The refusal to believe the flesh and the spirit are two different countries.

We’re not telling you to do anything. We don’t do that here.

We’re just saying: the thing you were told meant nothing? Whole civilizations bet their idea of God on it meaning everything.

Some of us always suspected the body wasn’t the enemy.

Turns out we weren’t the first.
